FabMaker Studio (Fab@School Maker Studio) is the first digital design and fabrication software developed specifically for the elementary classroom. This easy-to-use, web-based program, developed in conjunction with the Make To Learn initiative led by Glen Bull at the University of Virginia, provides an onramp to digital design and fabrication and a motivating way to support standards across the curriculum. Explore the links below to Tour FabMaker, see sample projects, and hear what kids have to say.

  • Lets PreK to 8 students design and create 2D stuff, pop-ups, 3D projects, and working machines, including the Make To Learn projects.
  • Supports a range of technologies from scissors to digital cutters, laser cutters, and 3D printers.
  • Readymade projects from simple to sophisticated support standards in math, science, engineering, language and social studies.
  • Access from school, home, library, on the go using laptop, desktop and mobile devices.

Free access to FabMaker Studio until September 30 for educators and their students. Email Andrea@FableVision.com and mention Make To Learn.
